Days Inn by Wyndham San Francisco - Lombard

Gopi, the man at the reception, was very kind. He genuinely wants you to have a good stay at San Francisco. He even wrote me a note on where to go to experience the best of SF on a day. The rooms are better than what you get in other Days Inn. You get a light breakfast (bananas, coffee, protein bars) at the reception. Not a heavy breakfast but surely a great relief. Enjoyed our stay for two nights here.

I’m going to give five stars just because of the price and location. The sheets and towels were clean. However, the stains on the bathtub and general maintenance of other items in the room could have been better.

Great hospitality, worked with us as we didn't know how long we would need to stay. Everyone was so kind. We had to switch rooms one morning, and they moved our luggage for us so we didn't have to worry about it. Thank you so much!

Just checked in to Days Inn in SF. Some of the reviews had me a little nervous, so I was upfront with the staff right away, and wow, they immediately put me at ease. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very nice for an SF hotel, clean and comfortable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, which really made a difference. Parking is easy and there are tons of food spots nearby, which is a huge plus. This is our first stay here, and we already know we will be back on our next SF trip. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's a basic hotel room from a budget chain. Set your expectations accordingly and you'll enjoy your stay here. The room was clean, the AC/heat worked well, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. In all, for the price for its location, this hotel was good value. Service was basic, friendly and fine. I paid only slightly more per night than some hotel options in the city charge just for their overnight parking, and parking was included here in the daily hotel rate. The morning light breakfast is basically tea/coffee/juice, a banana and a granola bar (at least, those were the options when we stayed), again, basic, but fine. I felt I got good value for the price I paid. There are plenty of muni options along Lombard street, and we were able to take public transit everywhere in the city conveniently, which saved having to drive while we were there.

Inn was exactly what we hoped for on our tight budget: clean, easy, affordable. Plus, it didn’t feel like a “tight budget” vacation since we had easy access to cheap public transportation, eateries, parking, and sights. Microwave and mini fridge with freezer in the room made it possible for us to bring food to cut on eating out expenses. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I had a very hectic work week ahead that required me to spend a week in this hotel. I arrived on a Monday a little bit before 5 PM to the parking lot almost completely full. Since there’s really not that much parking in the Presidio area, and any parking that’s on the street you would definitely need to pay for it did make me nervous that I was gonna need to park at work and walk back to the hotel. I was quite surprised that once I Returned From work, I was still able to park. The man who greeted me and gave me my key card was extremely nice. I asked if there was a way for me to get a room on the first floor. Though I wouldn’t say I fully need accessible accommodations, I do have a little bit of difficulty walking and having a room on the first floor would be very helpful. I could tell that they had at least two rooms on the first floor, but definitely recognize that the majority of the rooms were on the second. I wish I got the names man… Sorry about that, but he was very sweet and saw that for the week that I will be staying no one had reserved the accessible room so he gave it to me. There was a lot of space, a queen bed, and everything else that you would expect in a hotel room. The only difficulty that I had in this hotel was the parking. It’s a very tight lot, if you have a pick up truck, I highly recommend not parking inside of here, especially if it looks like it’s already full. Unless you are extremely good at maneuvering! Also do not be alarmed I think that they paint the parking lot so your tires might make a really concerning squeaking sound as you turn the wheel to make sure you don’t hit anything.

Exceptional customer service. There was a price error when booking online, but they quickly and effectively resolved the issue prior to check in. We arrived around 2pm and were allowed to check in, which was much appreciated since we were on the road for 9 hours. There is plenty of free parking on the premises. The rooms are adequate and have the basic necessities. I only wish they were a bit bigger to have an eating table. But, we managed. Fridge and microwave in room. Rooms are clean and they have an ac/heater. The location is walkable to many attractions. There are plenty of restaurants within a 3 minute walk. I would definitely stay here when visiting SF again.
